The Amityville Horror (2005)

From the producers of the terrifying remake of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, comes The Amityville Horror. Based on the original movie of the same name, this modern, special effects-laden remake tells the true story about a large house on the coast of Long Island where a newlywed couple and their three children move into, unaware that a murder took place in the house several years back. Soon the couple begins to experience bizarre and unexplainable events, including nightmarish visions which quickly leads them to realize that the house is haunted. However, the young family is not prepared for the true horrors in store for them.
